When we think about the massive amount of information Google, Facebook, and the various ISPs have, we often tend to get cynical and pessimistic. We hypothesize about how these companies will ‘take over the world’ and profit off of taking advantage of ‘the rest of us.’
But Facebook has recently launched a socially progressive campaign that directly affects society in a positive manner. By effectively understanding their audience through the analysis of the aforementioned ‘massive amount of information,’ Facebook has improved its brand image significantly.
The company combined their objective and removed information with a human and socially aware touch, and created a campaign that mutually benefits the company as well as the community.
